Mixing the unconventional.
Spring is in bloom! The trees are blossoming and so is all the fabulousness that has been cooped up all winter. My first time wearing cropped pants of the season- Whoo-Hooo!
Why hello, Long Island Summer. I see you in the distance and you looking as ravishing as ever.
One thing all north and south fork Long Islanders are used to in the change of season is the opening of all the great seasonal stores and restaurants all over the Hamptons. Each spring there is always something new to fall in love with. I recently discovered a great new store this season located in Southampton, which is where I got the incredible geode druzy necklace I am wearing. It was purchased at the newly premiered store: C Wonder, by the sea.
A brand full of eclectic designs and bold colors, I love that they sell a little bit of everything. All the pieces from jewelry to cardigans, to house furnishings are simply classic with some variations of fun details. The brand's founder and owner Christopher Burch is a style and investing mastermind who is responsible for other well-know endeavors has simply done it again and it is gooooood. The company has also just opened their other by the sea store location in Easthampton as well. If you too are late to the party with the wonderful C Wonder brand- it is definitely worth checking out, ladies!
I really loved this look and it was super comfy as per my usual standards. I thought the tweed textured jacket was very vintage Coco Chanel-esque with a modern twist and lovely paires with the modernized old hollywood inspired necklace. Then I decided to get all mixed up with my parachute-cargo crop pants which sounds a little crazy together, but the silky olive button down really pulled this all together and although added to the safari look of the pants blended the dressy jacket and fancy necklace. I thought it looked complete with or without the jacket. Old Glamour Safari ?
