Ladies and gentlemen, September has arrived. After quite a hot and humid summer, a change in weather is greatly appreciated. With this change in weather comes more opportunities for your transitional looks; mixing textures and fabrics from the seasons you're between. It's still warm enough to wear your summer fabric pieces, but you can begin to introduce some of your fall/winter colors. These transitional periods are some of my favorite fashion times of the year as it allows you to use a different type of creativity than other times of the year.
This particular look is inspired by this transitional period. I just love this linen henley; the color is perfect and even though it's long-sleeved, a quick push up of the sleeves can make the shirt weather appropriate. I've been itching to bring back my charcoal jacket and pairing these pieces back to my cotton-blend pants and grey shoes was a no-brainer. The look is cool, elevated, casual and seasonally appropriate.
What I'm Wearing:

RAY-BAN | sunglasses
THEORY | henley
STEVE MADDEN | shoes

A huge, nay, humongous shout out goes to the wonderful photographer for this shoot, Juliet Rose! Not only is she responsible for these amazing photographs, but she also provided the totally awesome prop as well!
I hope you all enjoyed the look as much as I enjoyed shooting it. Don't be afraid to mix up your seasonal pieces to create your own transitional looks. Love what you wear and the confidence you get from looking stylish.
Until next time,
